John Scicluna is a patent and trade marks attorney based in Sydney.
With a background in materials science in the private and research sectors, John’s experience enables him to work across multiple areas of technology. He has experience working with a broad range of clients from individual inventors and small to medium enterprises, to large global businesses and research organisations.
John’s practice includes servicing leading Australian building products manufacturers and research institutions, covering a range of technologies including metallic and non-metallic building materials, renewable energy technologies and medical devices. His work includes competitor IP monitoring, auditing of IP processes and provision of freedom to operate and validity advice.
John works closely with his clients in identifying and protecting their most valuable intellectual assets. He is particularly focused on developing holistic IP strategies that meet the commercial objectives of his clients.
