Noam Amitay

Noam Amitay is a highly skilled IP Intelligence manager, with over 10 years experience working in the field of Intellectual Property. As a data specialist, he analyses core IP issues and can overlay data backed strategic guidance on the protection of clients’ IP.

Noam is particularly skilled in searching patent databases and analysing large amounts of information to provide informed guidance to clients. He also has expertise in patentability searches for specific technologies, IP analysis, and freedom-to-operate search reports. 

Noam understands the intricacies of navigating patent offices having worked for seven years as a senior patent examiner at the Israel Patent Office in the fields of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. In that role, he examined both national phase and international patent (Patent Cooperation Treaty – PCT) applications. As a senior member of the pharmaceutical examiners team, Noam was in charge of training the new cadets through the examination process, as well as evaluating their progress and supervising their final products. He is able to translate his experience at the ILPO directly to his clients. 

Prior to joining Griffith Hack, Noam worked as an IP analyst for an immunotherapy company developing “off-the-shelf” (allogeneic) immune therapy products for the treatment of cancer based on immune killer cells.
